Wikipedia has changed the world. With that said, the user-edited internet encyclopedia has its flaws, chief among them that it’s user edited, and while their community editors are proactive at keeping the site clean, doing so flawlessly is an all-but impossible task.
There are more than 4 million English-language articles on Wikipedia, and because some people are passionate and some people are assholes and some people are both, that means certain pages get abused. Those abusive, goofy, sometimes atrociously mean edits are taken down quickly and sometimes they aren’t. Regardless, that’s why screen-shotting exists.
