Side Stories: Jeremy Dutcher and The Sorority lit up Sudbury’s Up Here Festival

A.Side took the trek to Northern Ontario and it was well worth it.

The 4th edition of Up Here Festival was another ideally curated, perfectly executed triumph for the city of Sudbury. Alongside its diverse lineup, Up Here took every opportunity to deliver a fresh experience to festival goers; from lunchtime shows in the park to 3:00am pop ups at the train station, the festival was completely immersed in its city.

Luckily for us, we were able to co-present The Sorority and Donzelle late night show at Durham Social, take a long walk with recent Polaris Prize-winner Jeremy Dutcher (we actually couldn’t leave him alone because he is the nicest, sweetest, purest soul), be absolutely blown away by the eclectic sounds of Random Recipe and meet and hang out with the warm, welcoming people of Sudbury. It was a vibe that we wish lasted longer than just a weekend and we honestly can’t wait to go back.

Thanks Sudbury!
