Toronto-based outfit The Nursery have been honing their brand of hazy, post-punky electro ever since their debut EP, Digital Ashes, and now, they’re about to release their first full-length, Life After Wartime. And as luck would have it, we’re stoked to premiere it’s first single, “Timeless Eye,” below:
“We have this amazing ability to freeze memories, people, and objects in our minds to match our own everlasting recollections of our subjective experiences,” The Nursery’s Alex Pulec says of “Timeless Eye.” “You can let time wither and destroy all organic things, including ourselves. I’ve always felt that memory is a human way of working against the concept of time, which is inextricably connected to change.”
Life After Wartime is out this summer.
