This tattoo artist uses Fenty makeup products to draw Rihanna

And she's RiRi approved.

I wouldn’t call myself an artist, but I certainly can appreciate the creativity behind being one. Which is why I not only appreciate the talent it takes to be great at your craft, but why I am also blown away when people take their skills to the next level.

Tattoo artist Alena Wedderburn is one of those artists who completely blow me away with not only her talent, but also her creativity. Her artwork is gorgeous—she creates beautiful and realistic paintings, drawings, and tattoos of her favourite stars.

But Alena isn’t just a talented artist and pop culture fan, she loves to play around with makeup too. And when Alena combines these three things, we’re blessed with gorgeous portraits of her favourite stars that use makeup products and her skin as her medium of choice.

When Rihanna released her new beauty line, Fenty, we were blessed with a makeup line that aimed to look good on anyone, and had a wide enough palette to pull it off. So it’s no wonder that Alena decided to work her magic and create a portrait of her idol using only Fenty products.

And the results are gorgeous.

Since posting photos and a video of her work online, Alena’s work has garnered the attention of media outlets across the world. It has also caught the eye of Rihanna herself. The superstar allegedly supports Alena’s work, providing encouragement for her to keep doing what she’s doing.

Alena, who is based out of Prague, also takes on commissioned work both as a tattoo artist, and in more traditional mediums such as paint and pencil. But she still often uses makeup products and her skin to flaunt her creative talent online.
