Back in 2014, 50 Cent threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a New York Mets game.
It was, uh, bad.
This was worse.
Last night, Red Sox fan (and high school pitcher) Jordan Leandre threw out the first pitch at the game. Like Fiddy’s, it got away from him. But this was no ordinary wild pitch. Leandre’s pitch went wide right and soared right into nearby photographer’s Tony Capobianco nards.
The photographer did, however, get an amazing picture out of it:

Leandre’s arm might not have been strong last night, but he is. A lifelong Red Sox fan, Leandre is a survivor of Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. And because he’s definitely been through worse in his young life, he’s taking the gaffe in stride. He’s sharing and responding to memes of the incident on Twitter, and his avatar kind of speaks for itself…
Was it Leandre’s finest moment? Nah. But take 50 Cent’s advice and laugh it off:
