It’s pretty obvious that Kelis is the reigning Queen of Milkshakes. In 2003, she irreversibly changed the perception of frothy liquid beverages everywhere when she introduced an entirely new spin on milkshakes with her now iconic track, “Milkshake.” In case you need a refresher, here’s a video of Kelis reminding you why the milkshake is one of the most important drinks in the world .
In the time since the song’s release, Kelis has kept herself busy. After training as a saucier, she graduated from the renowned culinary school, Le Cordon Bleu and has stared in a Cooking Channel show, Saucy and Sweet in addition to releasing a cookbook, My Life on a Place in 2015.
Now we have what seems like we’ve hit the climax of both sides of Kelis: the official Milkshake recipe.
