This line might make you feel a little old: Lorde just turned 21.
The New Zealand born superstar, born Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor, first burst onto the scene as a 17-year-old phenom with “Royals,” and has only gotten better with age. But she’s more than a chart topper — her star is on the rise but Lorde is still here for the people.
Last night (or this morning — time zones are confusing, eh) Lorde shared a little treasure hunt for her fans.
DUNEDIN: left a little package in the city library behind this book. see you tonight 🎯 pic.twitter.com/HwSXfANfLA

Lorde fans were camped out at the venue for hours before the show, with some showing up as early as 5 a.m., and Lorde’s little treasure hunt was reportedly at a library across from the venue. Hidden in it? Two tickets and, if Twitter’s to be believed, a hand drawn shirt by the queen herself.
That’s just like Lorde — giving fans a present on her birthday.
