Céline Dion is the best hockey mom

August 16, 2017

If you need a pick me up, you can pretend that Celine is cheering for you.

Most of us know the side of Céline Dion for belting out classics at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas or casually owning her body with the utmost grace; generally, for upholding the title of one of Canada’s most beloved icons. But this week, we saw the side of Céline that shows that she’s also the hockey mom we all aspire to be (or to have). Wearing a massive jersey bearing the last name of her eldest son, René-Charles Angélil, she was cheering and dancing the only way you can to stadium music.

It’s not the first time she’s made headlines with her dance moves this year. Earlier this summer, she stared in a Marie Antoinette-inspired video for Vogue, modelling the best looks of couture looks of the season.

Much like the title of Celine Dion’s hit francophone album, Encore un Soir, Chanel’s many-petaled evening look holds all the intrigue of a romantic night out in Paris. And in shades of dusky pink and blue, the haute couture ensemble is touched with the same dreamy palette as a sunset on the River Seine.
